Procedure

Gum Surgeries are to treat advanced gum disease and results in strengthening the gums. It is preceded by non surgical therapy which includes ultrasonic cleaning of teeth.

Gum surgeries are painless procedures carried out under the effect of local anesthesia which involves reflection of the gums, followed by deep cleaning and suturing. In some indicated cases, regenerative procedures involving bone grafts, membranes and natural substances like platelet rich fibrin or platelet rich plasma could be used.

Post surgery easy to maintain instructions are to be followed and patients are re-called at regular intervals for periodic assessments of their gum condition. Successful surgery improves the condition of the gums and ensures the longevity of the same.
